July 17th 1997, Update
I still don't have the proper computer, but here is another update. The last one
was mostly a refresh of the look, this one is a revision of the content.
But first I have to admit that I lost some information (press conference, trade
report, team history) in my many computer crash and I need your help. Any
proofreader available? Has some of you kept an archive of all the info that was
sent?
You would be very kind if all of you could browse through the site and mail me
the info that is missing? For example I know that some of the trade made in may
and june are not there... So please check the Transaction section to see if all
your trade are there, if not report it to me if you can include the date it was
approved by Claude it would be a nice touch. An example of what is not there: I
made a trade with Brooklyn involving Alou, Carasco a 1998 pick and other players
and I don't remeber all the details.
Also check the manager profile (now under each team rosters page, just click on
the owner name) if their accurate, check the e-mail adress. Check if it's your
name that is listed under your team. Take a look at you respective rosters is
their something wrong? Report all that to me by e-mail.
Check the many links, are they useful? Do they lead to the right place? Do they
take you back at the right place?
And while you're at it check what I write, english is not my main language so
there is many error I know. Don't hesitate you won't hurt my feeling, you'll
just help me learn.... ;-)
Would you be kind enough to add in the subject field of any e-mail you sent to
Claude or me (Gerald) the word: CBA
If you could also add an - or / followed by the three letter of your team.
example: CBA - BMR. That would help us sorting the incomming mail each day.

I'm preparing some new stuff that will be add to the site shortly. So stay
tunned.
Also there is some change on the horizon. The web page will move shortly to my
account (or geocities, I'm not sure). This way will be able to make the actual
transfer of files to the web site directly. Only the curents stats will be
available at the old adress. (the two adress will link to each other). But more
on that later...
You may have notice that on the team rosters page of each team their is a
"Presentation of the Club by the owners". Well maybe the title is'nt right but
what I want to put there is a short explanation about your team city and mostly
what the name is all about. Go see my text (Bodega bay Mad Bird) and Justin's
Phlorida Gater and you'll understand what I want you to write.
Any of you have their pictures scanned? If you got it and want it to be posted
on the site just send it to me. I have alredy put a couple of them: Mine,
Claude, Justin Gates, Marc Wasserman. They are normally available through the
Manage profile of each owner (just click on the name of the owner).
I will also take the occasion to respond to some question or comments that have
been made to me about the web site. If the site has no frame, no animation (or
not enough), no javascript and nifty applets is simply because I wanted to keep
the site light and fast. I talk from experience because I usually browse the web
on a 386 and good old Netscape 2.02 and hate it when it take two hours two load
on my screen. Many times sadly the contents is lost under a pile of unnecessary
graphics. I'm not saying that I will never add nifty features or frame to this
site, But right now I don't see the need for it. What I will add, upon moving
the website, is some section using the "form" of practically all browser.
Your input, suggestion, critics, and contributions are heartilly welcomed (and
needed) so don't hesitate to write to me.

June 23rd 1997, Update
Hi everyone,
Here it is an update!!! Wow! The last one dated back april 22nd!
I apologize, I've lost the usage of my home computer. I had to make some
arrangement with my boss in order to use my computer at the job for personnal
means. Doing the update was really impossible in the little time that I had. But
I manage to patch something together, not much but it's a start!
The most important thing about this update is the stats center and the new look.
There is a lot of other thing to update and I will try to do it ASAP. But Claude
will now be able to update the stats center at the end of each block.
Upon moving I will acquire a new computer and make update on much more regular
basis, I plan to make the next update around the 11th of July, after my
vacation! :-)
