Manager of the Beauport Gamblers Martin Boulet brought on assistant GM in Sebastien Roberge who in 2001 took over and renamed The once Grambling Gamblers (1998 Jay Shapiro), the Westmount Gamblers.  Sebas left as baseball left Quebec, and Doug Vandermark changed the name to the Farnham Chiefs. In 2003 Chris Thomas took over and named them the Houston Aeros.  Thomas had a turbulent history in CBA, and the Aeros franchises was awarded to current GM Bob Fidler.  Fidler rebuilt much of the team and developed the Aeros in the Indiana Redbirds, already a Parker division legend.  They won the 2006 WS championship and want it back in the worst way. They are proud Indiana Redbirds.
* Bluter Stenkowski co-managed during 2001.  Blute had a 2-12 record and was known that year for batting his pitcher leadoff.  He was relieved of his duties when it was found that the manager did not exist.

Bob Fidler on right, and Skokie GM Josh "Wolfman" Shapiro show muscle not only in the photo, but on the Strat diamond as well.  Both GM's lead two of the more successful franchises in CBA both are perennial playoff GM's.

Entered the league: May 21st, 2005

Strat experience started playing the board game in 1977

Play in a 10 team board league in my home town in which I have won 2 championships and won another in another board league that is now defunct now. I am the only mgr to win the championship in both leagues in the same yr.

My first computer league was in 2000 when I join SIBL in its inaugural season and still a member of it today.

I play in quite a few leagues: Sibl, GMBL, NABL (net-play only league), Tater League (board league), Winterbb, GUSSOMO, CBA and BEST. I have been to the World Series in both NABL and BEST but lost both times so my Championship in CBA is my first taste of it in a computer league.

Martial Status: Married wife name is Debbie have one son named Ryan

Hobbies: Strat, Golf and watching sports as I no longer can play them.

Job: I am Produce Lead Associate for Wal-Mart

Birth date 11-11-60

Home Town: Washington Indiana

I love to talk trade and looking forward to chat to fellow members via AOL IM.  I also think net-play is a great way to play strat other than playing FTF
