Rule of thumb: When comparing a SS or 2B in which is better a High E rated
SS-2B to a
lower E Rating type player.
Compare SS
Comparing a 1 to an equivalent 2: Add between 15-16 from the 2 rated teams e
rating for the
equivalent 1 range rated player.
For example: 2e6 is equivalent to a 1e22.
Comparing a 2 to a 3. Add between 15-16 to the 3 rated players rating to find
equivalent 2.
Comparing a 3 to a 4. Add between 15-16 to the 3 rated players rating to find
equivalent 3.
Comparing a 4 to a 5. Add between 15-16 to the 3 rated players rating to find
equivalent 4.
For each rating jump, add a slight increase in slugging units as the e ratings
go higher. The lowest E rating allowing about 1 unit of slug per AB. The highest
about 17 extra units of slugging.
Here is a set of charts that was found somewhere on the one of the Strat
websites.
I think it may have been "Baseball Think Tank". Credit is all theirs, a terrific
